THE ISSUE
Every year, millions of tonnes of textiles are incinerated or carelessly dumped in landfill around the world. These clothes take hundreds of years to decompose, and while doing so release greenhouse gases, trapping heat in our atmosphere and warming up our planet. Toxic chemicals and dyes pollute our waters and soil; we are disrupting our Earth’s perfectly balanced ecosystems which are needed to sustain life.
We are already seeing the effects of the Climate Crisis. Deadly flash floods, rising sea levels, biodiversity loss and unprecedented heatwaves are happening around the world.

We are working to create regenerative solutions for current textile production, for a more circular, sustainable fashion industry. We want to encourage a thriving industry which simultaneously aims to conserve and restore the Earth.
We are diverting clothes from landfill, transforming post-consumer garments into a new recyclable fabric. We are reducing the world’s reliance on virgin materials, instead using the abundance of waste as a valuable resource to contribute to changing the fashion industry from a linear to a circular model.

B-CORP CERTIFICATION PENDING
Our umbrella company Project Work Force, is in the process of applying to be a B certified corporation. This means that our social and environmental performance need to meet a specific standard to gain this certification.
